22nd June 2018

Thursday the 28th June at 22.45, in a special edition of “Sense ficció”, TV3 is set to broadcast “20-S” a documentary directed by Jaume Roures and produced by MEDIAPRO which offers an unseen version of the events which took place outside the State Finance Ministry building in Barcelona on 20th September 2017.
The documentary analyses and highlights with footage and first-hand accounts the role of Jordi Sànchez and Jordi Cuixart, heads of the Catalan National Assembly and Òmnium Cultural, during a demonstration that lasted for more than 15 hours, as well as the response from the Catalan regional police force over the day.
“20-S” is a minute-by-minute reconstruction of a day which saw multiple raids on different Catalan regional government buildings and the arrest of 14 high-profile members of the regional government with the response of the people outside the Government Finance Building in Barcelona.
The director and producer, Jaume Roures, has commented that the footage could well provide evidence for the defence in the cases of Jordi Sànchez and Jordi Cuixart, who’ve been imprisoned in Soto del Real for the last eight months.
Pre-premiere in cinemas
The documentary is set for a pre-premiere on Tuesday the 26th June at 20:00 in the Aribau Cinema Complex in Barcelona.
