Prime Video has confirmed the end of filming in the Basque Country of the 6 episodes of the third and final season of “El Internado Las Cumbres”. The mystery series inspired by the iconic franchise sees Lydia Pavón (“La edad de la ira”), Nagore Aramburu (“Patria”), Mia Lardner and Zigor Bilbao, among others, join the cast. The third season of “El Internado Las Cumbres” is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video on 2023.
Three months after the terrible events which saw the tragic demise of Paz, Amaia is convinced that the mysteries that are part of the Internado have yet to be resolved. Ready to go as far it takes to get to the bottom of it, she enlists the help of Zoe, a new student who’s come from a boarding school where they didn’t know what to do with her. Zoe fits in with the rest of the group right from the start and soon gets involved in disappearances and frightening crimes within the walls of the monastery. Life and death, which quickly becomes a real test of their friendship. At the same time, Alicia/Inés and León are in a race against time to escape a horrible end and a terrible loss of memory.

“El Internado Las Cumbres” is a THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO and Buendía Estudios production. At the helm of executive production are Laura Fernández Espeso, Javier Pons and Laura Belloso from THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO, and Ignacio Corrales and Sonia Martínez, from BUENDÍA STUDIOS. Laura Belloso, the creator of the series together with Asier Andueza, heads up the team of scriptwriters which includes, Sara Belloso, Eva Mir and Guillermo Cisneros. Laura Belloso, will also be directing this third season along with Oriol Ferrer and Alexandra Graf.
